why is everybody flocking to Mexico rn?

apparently COVID doesn’t exist in Cancún

So, is it just me, or is everybody and their momma flocking to Cancún and Tulum right now? Everytime I open instagram, it seems like someone has flocked to Mexico because it’s one of the five countries that’s allowing Americans to enter. Oh how the times have changed!!! Are y’all ignorant folk still chanting ‘build that wall’ now?!?!?
